Well as we settle into 2011, it made me think about what we'd achieved in 2010.

Despite the never-ending financial crisis biting into every aspect of the business we managed to refurb our   Chiswick shop, which was long overdue, and we finally updated half of our jewellery cabinets.

We'll still be tweeking a few bits and bobs over the next couple of months but we hope it's all positive steps towards improving the customer experience of shopping with us at London Zu.

This website was also revamped and re-launched in January 2010 closely followed by the birth of our online shopping facility nine months later in September.

The loyalty card scheme has been a great success and continues to be very popular in both our Chiswick and Twickenham shops so we've decided to continue the scheme at least through the first part of 2011.

Our fantastic Saturday staff, Sara and Lauren sadly left for University in September after working with us for the last two years but came back in their holidays just in time to join the team and enjoy the Christmas madness. Luckily for us they have been replaced by two new great staff - Maya and Rochelle - who have fitted in really well and we are already receiving great feedback about them from our customers. London Zu, along with our Twickenham customers, have been very happy to see that Francesca has also re-joined the team temporarily. We're not sure for how long so make sure you pop in and say hello whilst she's still with us.

So here's to 2010 and as for 2011, well bring it on....
